Lifelong Mission resident and educator Lori Ann Guerra has always led with heart. A teacher by day and creative visionary at heart, Lori built Four Six Five Productions on faith, grit, and an unwavering belief in her hometown. What began in 2023 as a bold pivot quickly grew into a vibrant, full-service photography studio in the heart of Downtown Mission, proof that sometimes the leap is the beginning of the legacy.

Four Six Five Productions offers portrait sessions, milestone photography, business headshots, event coverage, in-house printing, and photo booth services, a true one-stop creative space for families, entrepreneurs, and community celebrations. For Lori, photography is more than a service; it’s a calling. Every session is an opportunity to preserve a memory, honor an achievement, and tell someone’s story with care.

“Photography isn’t just about clicking a button,” Lori says. “It’s about freezing a feeling in time. I get to capture someone’s milestone, their hard work, their family, and give them something they can hold onto forever.”

When she first stepped into her downtown suite, the vision was clear, but the space needed work. The studio lacked proper lighting and water access, required code compliance updates, and needed repairs from ceiling tiles to flooring and exterior branding. It was a blank canvas in every sense of the word.

Through Mission EDC’s Downtown Assistance Program grant, that vision accelerated. The funding allowed Lori to bring the studio fully up to code, complete inspections, replace ceiling tiles, repair and repaint walls, install new flooring, and update the exterior awning to reflect her brand. She also invested in a commercial printer, bringing photo production in-house and eliminating outsourcing costs, while expanding services with custom cut-outs, backdrop options, and a full photo booth and on-site printing experience.

The result is a polished, fully operational, revenue-generating studio built for sustainability and growth. With foundational improvements complete, Lori can now focus on reinvesting in equipment, expanding services, and delivering an elevated customer experience, contributing to the continued momentum of Downtown Mission.
