Ruby Red Ventures – Build Mission Fund: RGV Decals & Iron Ons

Rick is the owner of RGV Decals & Iron Ons, a Mission-based embroidery and customization shop specializing in custom embroidery, decals, and personalized apparel. For the past 10 years, the business has proudly served local businesses, organizations, teams, and individuals with hands-on service and quality craftsmanship you won’t find at a big chain.

Mission isn’t just where the business operates, it’s home. It’s where Rick’s children attend school, where Friday night football brings the community together, and where neighbors support one another like family. That commitment to growth led Rick to apply for the Build Mission Fund, a program of the Mission Economic Development Corporation that helps local businesses take their next step forward. In 2025, RGV Decals & Iron Ons was awarded $15,000 through the Ruby Red Ventures – Build Mission Fund.

The grant allowed the business to invest in a Direct to Film (DTF) printer, bringing production fully in-house for the first time. This move reduced outsourcing costs, improved turnaround times, and expanded service offerings, while keeping profits reinvested locally and delivering better value to customers.

Since receiving the grant, producing in-house has been a major milestone. The investment has strengthened operations, improved efficiency, and positioned the business for long-term growth.

Looking ahead, Rick remains focused on continued growth, gratitude, and serving the Mission community with purpose. With the right tools, strong community support, and a clear vision for the future, RGV Decals & Iron Ons is building its next chapter, right here in Mission.
